Managing an invisible disability is a full-time job for a lot of people, including myself.
As someone with multiple mental illness/disorder diagnosis and hypertension, it’s hard to understand fully how my body operates.
Even with 29 years to figure it out, it has been hard.
However, there may be a solution, and so I’d like to discuss a company I recently found out about.

They are selling bands with a membership that allows you to track how much energy you have to use throughout the day based on data that’s monitored with the band (such as heart rate and movement data).
The band itself is designed to be worn at all times and it’s waterproof, so showering and/or swimming are not a problem for the band.
I’ve had my band on 3 days so far and it’s barely noticeable now.
The band connects to your phone via bluetooth and there’s a Visible app that shows you your information.
I’ve only had mine for about 2-3 days and it’s still accumulating data in order to give me an idea about how much energy I have to use during the day.
The app has a morning and evening check-in which gathers more data to factor in how you used your energy such as physically, mentally, and emotionally.
It also includes information about your symptoms, exertion, and you can write a note as well about your day.
I specifically bought mine because I wanted to see how I was using my energy so that I could avoid over exerting myself.
Usually what I’ve been doing is pushing myself to do more than I feel I can because I want to appear semi-average/normal.
This has been an ineffective and unsatisfying way to live.
So, I have high hopes that this band will help me take care of myself better and can help me acknowledge how to use my energy.
Unfortunately, the only problem I had with the band is the price.
I was able to purchase mine because I have financial assistance from my family at the time.
But the band itself requires a $20/month membership, so it can get pricey.
Besides the price, I have nothing but good things to say so far about this product.
