You know what that means…

…It’s time to watch “Freaky Friday”!

And if you’ve never seen “Freaky Friday”, I totally recommend it!

AND the new movie “Freakier Friday” (2025) was recently uploaded to Disney+ and tbh, I haven’t seen it yet but I hear it’s cute and funny.

There are many things to love about the movie and *SPOILERS AHEAD* the cutest thing about the movie is when Jake falls in love with Anna in her mom’s body!!! And when they’re singing in the coffee shop! That was too funny!!!

It’s so cute and I wish more movies would be as cute, funny, and silly as this one.

It feels like the movies coming out recently (the past 5 years) aren’t as creative nor as exciting to watch as they used to be.

I don’t know why that is?

It feels like people were allowed to experiment a lot and be silly/dorky and now everyone wants to be “professional” and/or “politically correct”.

Which is fine to a degree but… where is the fun?

Where has the ability for movies to impact people gone?

And I know I’m no director/movie maker but I miss that spark I felt movies had.

Anyway, I could be wrong (I’m sure!!!) so if you’ve seen a recent movie that has impacted you and/or made you feel that spark, which one was it??? Because I’d absolutely love to know.

Thanks for reading!
