Amidst the chaos and stress, I wanted to try something to see if it could cheer me up a little… so I bought “Keracolor Clenditioner (in the color cinnamon)” and decided to change my hair color.
The biggest reason I decided to do this was because my roots had grown about 11 weeks worth and money was tight so going to get it bleached again wasn’t an option anymore.
I had had blonde hair since the end of April so I’ve had fun being a blonde for 6 months (lol).
And although I do miss my blonde hair… “Keracolor Clenditioner “has been a cheaper option to use and to hide my roots with!
The bottle itself (12 fluid oz) is $22 dollars on Amazon and it can be found on other websites as well!

And the application is very simple. Complicated to do… but simple lol!
Once you have the color of Keracolor Clenditioner that you want to apply to your hair:
- Grab some gloves and put on a black shirt if possible (in case any could get on you).
- Brush your hair so there are no tangles.
- Grab your Keracolor clenditioner and open it.
- Once open, apply it generously to all of the hair you want colored.
- Continue to cover your hair with Kera color clenditioner and once applie everywhere you want- wait 20 minutes for max effects.
- Once the 20 minutes have passed, it’s time to rinse your hair with cold water… but be very careful because it’s not supposed to get near or on your eyes. What I did, is I rinsed my hair in a sink in the backroom of my home. It’s for laundry and cleaning but it was big enough for me to grab a plastic cup and pour water over my hair over and over. And because I had applied it ALL OVER my blonde hair… it probably took 22 minutes to rinse out. The instructions say to rinse until the water is clear but my water was still a little cinnamon coming out so I decided that I was too tired to rinse anymore so I didn’t fully fully rinse it like they said (oooops!).
- Once you’ve rinsed it out (or as much as you can), grab a towel you don’t mind being colored a little and dry your hair with the towel.
- Lastly, you’ll need to dry your hair with a hair dryer. And since my hair is fairly long, it took about 20 minutes to dry my hair.
I was pleasantly surprised with how vibrant the color cinnamon was on my hair and my hair smelled good after all the steps were done!
The color I specifically chose reminds me of Ariel from the Little Mermaid!
And because I had very light blonde hair, the color was very noticeable once applied.
So, out of 5 stars, I give this product 5 stars! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
