I’ve been feeling overwhelmingly depressed. As someone diagnosed with Persistent depressive disorder (with intermittent major depressive episodes), I know this adds up but still… it aches to get through the days, let alone the minutes and hours. But I wanted to celebrate and remind myself of all the things keeping me here so here they are:

  • My family and friends
  • Music (specifically pop punk recently)
  • My medication
  • Therapy
  • Breaking Bad (even though I have little will to watch it right now)
  • Tasty food and drinks (like my morning coffee and Dr. Pepper)
  • My (cool) plates (because it makes the experience so much more enjoyable)
  • Chilly days when I can wear my cozy coat
  • Pajamas
  • ASMR (shout out to Ms. Rosann ASMR on YouTube!)
  • Memes (Humor and jokes in general)
  • Art (seeing something speak to me feels so beautiful)
  • My soundproof gun-range headphones that I use when I feel overstimulated
  • Knowing I get to go to The Beatles Fest in August
  • Possibly going to see Neck Deep and The Story so Far live in September
